About Us

The Community Education Program, is composed of non credit classes and is designed to be a service to the community, offering a wide range of courses at reasonable cost. The majority of the classes are taught by members of the community, with expertise in the subject they are teaching.

The Community Education Program is non profit and self support. Instructor and staff salaries, materials, supplies, and overhead fees paid to the Seattle Community College District, are all paid out of student tuitions.

Deadline for Course Proposals

November 30, 2011 is the deadline for course proposals for spring quarter 2012.
